A Nor’Beaster

8:00 a.m. Southern NH

Quick update. We are in the 18 – 25 inch zone with the worst of the snowfall yet to come.

We have heat, electricity, coffee, hot food, and plenty of books – which basically makes New Hampshire not such a bad place to be right now.

Let’s keep it that way.

Write on my friends.

9:20 a.m. Southern NH - my poor son may not see his car again until the spring thaw.

For those on the east coast, now is the time to truly hunker down and not travel those roads once the snow starts.  Please remember to check on the welfare of neighbors and the elderly.

We’ll see you all on the other side.

  1. Here in the UK we are snow-free but expecting a bit soon. The white stuff just cleared my road a few days back. Deepest was probably 4 inches but felt like 4 feet. stay safe to all of you affected.

  2. Difficult to imagine what you re experiencing but it does sound cold and scary, being housebound for who knows how long. Here it is 39C (102F) that would thaw you out in no time … Stay safe and rugged up. Kinda wish I was there with the books, coffee, comfy chair and companionship …

  3. Reading this from the UK makes me somewhat glad that our weather isn’t as unpredictable as yours in the States! As much fun as it looks, it must be quite worrying, not to mention inconvenient. Stay safe ‘nd warm chaps 🙂
