  2. I’m glad to discover this network, as I’m always looking for ways to connect to other writers. I live across the river from New Hampshire, in Vermont, where my first published novel is set. INTO THE WILDERNESS has been called “a fiercely intelligent love story” about two 64-year olds, set in Vermont in 1964. It just received a great shout-out on VPR’s Winter Reading Program and soared on the amazon ratings. My goal for the book is to build an audience (and readers love this book), and use my success with it to find an agent and/or larger publisher and wider audience for my next novel, also set in mid-century Vermont. ELEGY FOR A GIRL is as dark as INTO THE WILDERNESS is bright.
In addition to fiction, I write essays that are both published in regional print outlets and broadcast on Vermont Public Radio.
I’d love to know more about this group.
    Thanks, Deborah.

  4. A Room of MY Own…what a concept! I have an office too – actually, the front room after you walk in the front door. Nice wood stove, not fancy but plenty of room. But ambiance never was the problem. No wall, no door is the problem with kids of any age around. Constant interruptions! A separate studio seems like the perfect solution. On my wish list!

  5. If anybody has received any illicit email from me, FYI – my email was hacked and it is NOT me sending off-color stuff! I am filing a formal complaint but LTW-WTL is on my list and so many people I know have been sent dirty videos and ads! If you have received anything please forward it back to my address because I am filing a formal complaint and need to provide the source. Black and white evidence! It is all coming from the same domain. Thanks much.

  6. It’s great to know passionate writers! KUDOS! Keep inspiring people! I’m inspired more to hone my writing skills and to enhance my blogging experience 🙂 More Power to your team!

  11. Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I just nominated you for the “Versatile Blogger” award for WordPress! I had to write a post about my own nomination- it’s a tradition, I guess.

If you decide to continue the posting tradition you need to:

    1. write seven random things about yourself

    2. nominate 15 bloggers that you follow

    3. put the “Versatile Blogger” picture (you can find it on my blog on the very first post on the homepage) on your post.

    Happy Blogging! : )

  20. Hi everyone!

I’ve been writing since I was nine, so its been a passion of mine for over half my life! I doubt it ever fade. I mainly write fantasy and YA novels, but have written one horror and a steampunk.

I’m still trying to get published, but I can’t write a query letter to save my life. I am, however, going to release a self-published novel on August 18th! Really excited about that.

Anyways, I hope to meet some other fellow authors here! I’d love to have a few writer friends. All my friends always look at me like I’m nuts when I go on about writing!

  24. Hello,
Not long started writing creatively and on entering competitions it was suggested that I should develop something of an online presence. So here I am.
It was a relief to find your site, (collective noun for a group of writers?) if any of you can spare the time to pop over to mine at prtbarnett@wordpress.com I would welcome some pointers as I haven’t a clue.
    Regards

  25. Kuzuzangpo La! I am Tenzin from Devon in England but I am originally from Bhutan hence the Kuzuzangpo La which is hello, hope you are well and all that put together in Bhutanese language. Bhutan is a small country in the Himalayas and it is well known for its GNH – Gross National Happiness. GNH of its people is considered to be more important than doing well in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and therefore it is central to all governance and development planning.

I don’t think I am a good writer as I am still learning but I love blogging anyway and sharing my experiences with everyone. I believe in learning from other people’s experience and sharing my own experiences with others; hopefully will achieve that united desire to learn together.

I like promoting learning as one never stops learning and believe in lifelong learning and all that stuff. In my spare time apart from writing I love Origami the complex the better and create most of mine following YouTube instructions or from the book. In fact I love anything arty crafty and creativity.

I also love meeting and making new friends. Life is so short, so live it well while you can and make as many new friends as you can and learn as much as you can. Be kind and show compassion to all.

All the best to everyone and Tashi Delek!
