Welcome She Writers!

Hello & welcome to Live to Write – Write to Live. We’re so pleased you stopped by and are happy to be part of the She Writer Blogger Ball Redux compliments of Meg Waite Clayton. (Thanks, Meg!)

This blog is written by a collaborative group of writers who are passionate not only about the craft of writing, but about the business of writing. Live to Write – Write to Live (aka “New Hampshire Writers’ Network) includes posts about taming the muse, organizing your brilliant ideas, building your platform, making the most of networking events, and so much more. Each Friday, we post a “just for fun” post that asks a random question – sometimes related to writing, and sometimes totally off-topic.

At least two of us are She Writes members – so please feel free to look us up: Jamie Wallace and Lisa Jackson.

You can learn more about who we are and what we’re here to do, or just cruise the current posts for something that sounds interesting.

Enjoy & we’ll see you around the web!

PS – Please follow us on twitter as well – @nhwn. πŸ™‚

    • I write for several collaborative blogs and I have to admit that it’s such fun when you find the right group – not to mention that you can make short work of even a daily blog when you share the load with five or more bloggy friends!

    • Excellent! I hope you find some inspiration and tips here. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have – you might inspire one of us to write a post! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks, Sam! We’ve learned that collaboration is not only often more efficient, but more fun! Happy to have you here.

  1. I’m stopping by as part of the blogger ball. It’s nice to meet you. I saw your recent post about favorite pizza. I make my own with an amazing crust from House of Pasta. It’s delicious! I like pepperoni and broccoli on mine.

    • Homemade pizza is the best! My mouth still waters when I think of my mom’s pizza. I’m no cook, but I do make a mean “Boboli” pizza … my boyfriend says it’s the best ever! πŸ™‚

  2. I’ve done some collaborative theme blogging and it can be really great! I’m going to be having fun visiting your blog entries. Great to see you on the blog hop!

    • Thanks for stopping by! I’m a big fan of collaborative blogging – it’s a great way to lighten the load and spark all kinds of new inspiration. There’s something about that group dynamic that seems to breed brilliant ideas. πŸ˜‰
Off to visit your blog now!

  3. Hi all!
Looks like a pretty nice cooperative at “Live to Write – Write to Live.” I must admit, it was the title of your blog that drew me in – a play on words from the Harley Davidson tag line. My husband was schooled as an HD Tech many *many* ions ago. lol

Enjoy the SW blog dance! :~)

    • πŸ™‚ Love that you connected us with Harley … I can envision a whole new “look” for the blog – much more black and leather and studs. πŸ˜‰

      Nice to “meet” you.
      See you around the web!

    • Kathy – Not sure. I’ve had some “identity crisis” issues with some of my comments on Blogger … always bums me out, but I’ve learned to just go with the flow. If it gets very confusing, I try to leave an additional comment so people know where to find me. πŸ˜‰

    • We recommend collaborative blogging to all our friends – lots of fun and a lot less guilt.

  4. Yes – Count me in! I’m proud to be a member of SheWrites and a blogger for New Hampshire Writer’s Network! SheWrites has been a great source for information and support from other writers, and writing for the NHWN Blog is both an honor – and FUN!

    • How nicely put – the “power of community.” It’s so true – we find that working together has many benefits – for the group and for each member individually. It’s a win-win!
